Welcome!

And so it begins! Hello there and welcome!
Seeing as this is the first post of hopefully many to come, it seems only fitting to give a little background on who I am and what this whole thing is about.

Hi my name is Khrystin and am a Pinterest wedding addict Just kidding!..well sort of...I am addicted to Pinterest and my name is Khrystin (pronounced like Kristen, yes that automatically makes me unique,(get it knot your average... never mind)) and I am 22 years old and currently in the process of planning my 2014 wedding.  My fiancè and I have been together for TEN years this year...I'll let you do the math...let that sink in for a second...yes it's a long time....yes we were very young...I know..I know! IT's LOVE <3

Anyway, we were engaged two years ago on a warm May day with the flowers blooming in the late afternoon sunshine as we strolled along the Erie Canal...(sigh) It was beautiful.  Since then I have graduated college and acquired my first "real job" that doesn't involve weekend hours, carrying trays of food around, or serving picky Country Club members or wearing horrible polyester knee length skirts, pantyhose, and high collar, long-sleeve shirts in July.  YAY!!!! (I know my former co-workers are reading...I still love you, but you know those uniforms are whacked...just because the club was established in 1819 doesn't mean we have to dress like it's 1819...just saying :P).  My fiancè graduates this May and because of the hectic realities of life, we have decided that planning graduation and a wedding at the same time would but fun but waaaayy to stressful, and to be honest, we're broke....Hence the 2014 date :)

So enough about me...this blog was created to give real brides-to-be a realistic look at how wedding planning can be fun, exciting, and cost effective I promise! I hope to bring some inspiration, thoughtfulness, and helpful insight for your wedding planning to help everything go smoothly for you and your groom! After all this is the biggest party of your life! You should enjoy it!
